The Indic Journal is an independent publication. There is no media conglomerate behind it, no political party funding it, and no corporate parent deciding what we cover. It is run by one person, and it stays that way because independence is the whole point.

Independence has a cost though, and that cost is usually paid quietly through unpaid hours, hosting bills, and the slow grind of building something without a newsroom budget behind it. If our reporting or analysis has been useful to you, and you would like to help keep it going, you can support us directly.

Where your support goes

Every contribution goes toward keeping this publication running and growing. That means web hosting and infrastructure costs, the tools we use to research, write and verify our coverage, and the time it takes to report on India and the world properly rather than rushing out whatever gets the most clicks fastest.

What your support does not buy

Supporting The Indic Journal does not buy influence over our coverage. We do not write favourable pieces for donors, we do not take coverage requests in exchange for contributions, and we do not let financial support shape what we choose to report on or how we report it. If we ever introduce sponsored content in the future, it will be clearly labelled as such, separate from our editorial reporting, and donations will never be a backdoor into that line.

We accept both one time contributions and ongoing monthly support, whichever fits you better. Even a small monthly contribution helps us plan ahead with more certainty than one time gifts alone.

The Indic Journal is currently run by an individual publisher and is not yet a registered company. As the publication grows, this page will be updated to reflect any changes to that structure, and we will always be upfront about who is behind this outlet and how it is funded.
